Senior Software Engineer
Get It® is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead projects for our proprietary classified ad system in our Old Town Alexandria office. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
· 3-5 years (or more) experience developing PHP-based web sites
· Detailed understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Object Oriented Design and Development
· Familiarity with test-driven-development (TDD)
· Working knowledge of RDBMS design principles
· Experience with Zend Framework, Linux, AWS, Apache, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, REST and git
· Ability to mentor junior developers
· Ability to manage own work and prioritize multiple work streams
· Must enjoy working as part of a small, fast moving team
· Great written and oral communication skills
· Burning desire to continually learn new technologies
· A sense of humor
