[Downtown Dharma Listserve] Next Sunday, August 11 - Potluck and community-led discussion

Next Sunday will be our monthly potluck, same time and place, 6:00-7:30 at All Souls Church.  Bring a dish or snacks to share, along with reusable utensils, plates, etc so we can reduce waste. It's a great way to get to know other people in the group, so please join us!

We are also looking for a volunteer to lead the community-led discussion next Sunday.  On this occasions when our teachers are not availalbe, someone in the sangha chooses a topic of interest and either gives a short talk, presents a  podcast, or leads an open discussion for about 20-30 minutes, guides a 30 minute meditation, and allows plenty of time for eating and chatting. It's a wonderful way to contribute to the sangha, so if you are interested in volunteering for this Sunday, please let me know.
