Dear Friends,
The Musicality of Being workshop happens again this Saturday, November 8, 10am-1pm in Rock Creek Park* (and again on November 22) and you are warmly invited.
*Meetup spot (near Nature Center) is shared after you register
This is a relational community walking meditation where partners walk the trails together while dialoguing about the unfolding of the present moment. By regularly changing partners and checking in with the whole group at several points along the way, together we develop a shared experience of call and response between our bodies and the larger body of the park. A cherished moment in every workshop is our meditation at the creek where some close their eyes and listen to the water while others keep their eyes open to watch the sunlight dance on the surface of the currents.
A long time meditator at the last workshop described his experience of discovering a sense of "relational awareness" that was distinct from a kind of "clinical awareness" that might be associated with certain forms of sitting practice. For all concerned, this bi-weekly gathering is an opportunity to slow down time and enter into a field of appreciation that nourishes body, mind, heart and soul.
Register here (a sliding scale option is available - scroll all the way down on the registration page)
I hope to see you there!
Warmly,
Seth Dellinger
