The Sangha welcomes BORN I, musician and meditator

You are invited to join us on Monday, January 8th from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for a special offering of meditation, crystal bowl sound bath, and spoken word. The evening will include discussion on self-compassion and metta.

Our special guest is Born I, D.C-based, Ghanaian-American meditator, teacher, rapper, hip hop artist, and all-around creative contributor. He will be leading lightly guided meditation and sharing his sound bowls us.

Born I has performed with the Plum Village monastics, and his most recent album, "AMIDA" is an expression of hip hop as a form of meditation. We also can hear his melodic voice on the mediation app, Balance. As some of us may be contemplating resolutions for 2024, consider Born I's singular message: You Are Enough.
