Resolved: It is better to live a life of purpose than a life of stability.

Resolved: A medium's content and not the medium itself has the greater influence on society.

Resolved: We are the servants, not the masters, of our technology.

Resolved: The Web has fundamentally changed our way of thinking.

Resolved: We are prisoners of our own design.

Resolved: Superficiality has trumped substance in modern globalization/human exchange. (Two different debates but both are worth taking a look at on their own merit).
