10:30 - 11:45AM : Sharing Circle - Join us for a collaborative Sharing Circle, with contributions from teachers Marina, Regina, Karin, Neil, Michele, and sangha member Terri. This gathering will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s core values of non-harming, unconditional love, and community. It will also offer a space for reflection, dialogue, and a rededication to our own values. We envision this event as a loving refuge, offering support on a day that may bring up a range of emotions for many. Teachers and sangha members are warmly invited to share their voices.
- 7:00 - 8:15 PM MLK Evening Session with Hugh - Hugh Byrne will lead a meditation and give a talk on the transformative power of the bodhisattva path in meeting these challenging times with wisdom, compassion and courage. We will discuss Dr Martin Luther King as a bodhisattva and how Dr. King's vision of the beloved community is a natural expression of the bodhisattva path in society and globally.
