I received enough interest from the group, so I registered a team for
the Hands On DC volunteer day on Saturday, May 19th.

registering, choose the team name "Downtown Dharma".
To let you know about the cause, Hands on DC is an all-volunteer,
nonprofit organization that conducts a yearly citywide Work-a-thon to
improve the physical condition of DC public schools, raises funds to
support college scholarship programs for public school students, and
encourages greater community involvement in DC. Each year Work-a-thon
participants paint murals, spruce up landscaping, and make repairs to
DC public schools. For more information on Hands on DC you can check
