The dharma talk will explore the question, “What aspects of my experience are mind-created?” Human imagination is powerful and often operates without notice. It can be difficult to distinguish the products of imagination from reality. Our pursuits, our apparent successes and failures, our hopes and disappointments, all happen within a mental model of the world whose contents may or may not be factual. Liberation, at least in part, involves trying to discern what parts of our experience are apparitions, projections, inventions, or distortions.
Example: What do you see in this image? Is it really there, or is your ind filling it in?
