[Downtown Dharma Sangha Listserv] [Special Post-Election Session] Wisdom and Love in a Changing World | Fri, Nov 8 @ 8 pm

Dear Downtown Dharma Community, 

The days leading up to the upcoming election, and the days following it, are bound to produce a range of intense emotions and feelings.  In light of this, there will be a special evening of mindfulness on Friday, November 8, from 8 pm to 9:30 pm.  The title of the session is Now more than ever: wisdom and love in a changing world.

We are fortunate to have Devin Maroney, an affiliate teacher with the IMCW, lead a meditation and give a brief talk on this topic.  We will then move to an Insight Dialogue activity to deeply explore these themes and share with a meditation partner. 

Yoga District on 14^th St has graciously agreed to open up space for us.  For those interested in attending in-person, please register ahead of time on the Yoga District website so we can get an accurate headcount, as space is limited and there may be a high demand for the session.  The session will also be livestreamed via the Zoom link below.
