Hi my friends!
Please feel warmly welcome to join us for a daylong at the Washington Buddhist Vihara, this Sunday, April 21, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
The theme for the day is metta or loving kindness. As Bhante Gunaratana (former abbot of the Vihara) says, « Metta is the nature of the universe, and the true nature of each of us. We are loving kindness. » Metta is connected to our deepest longings: the desire for truth, for peace and justice, for love and connection, and for overcoming suffering.
We are located at 5017 16th St NW. Free parking is available on side streets. Lunch is potluck. Please bring enough to share. Also, please sign up on eventbrite at the link provided below. We hope to see you this Sunday!
