This Sunday's topic and practice will be an opportunity to participate in a discussion about living life with authenticity, joy, and courage. We will also discuss the journey inward or "Soul-ward" to unlock our individual and collective potential.
During our time together we will join in a heart-centered practice of listening and sharing with one another. We will explore the following quote:
"Many of us are burning in the fire of our craving, fear, anxiety, despair, or regret. Our anger or jealousy, or even our ideas about death and loss, can burn us up inside. But when we transform our suffering and remove our wrong ideas, very naturally, we can touch a refreshing peace. This is nirvana."
Hanh, Thich Nhat. The Art of Living (p. 184). HarperCollins. Kindle Edition.
During my dharma share, I will explore the following questions:
What does Nirvana look like in your life?
How do we go inward in a world that focuses outwardly?
Afterward, we welcome you to participate in Ruth King's Metta prayer for racial healing.
