Dear Friends,
It was a joy to be with some of you on Sunday night for Insight Dialogue. If you were there, the following is more details for what I shared during the community announcements after the practice.
First, you are warmly invited to join me in Rock Creek Park, this Saturday 1/24, 10am-1pm for the Musicality of Being workshop.
This is a nature immersion, collective walking meditation and dialogue practice. In a similar vein to Insight Dialogue, we walk the trails with a partner (who changes throughout the workshop) sharing aspects of our present moment experience. There are also periods of walking individually and an opportunity to meditate next to the creek.
The practice invites us to gradually build up a multi-layered attunement that simultaneously encompasses our inner world, the company of our fellow hikers and the life of the park all around us, discovering a somatic sense of "what interconnectivity feels like."
If you can't make it on the 24th, the workshop will be offered again on February 7 and 21.

and/or connect on Facebook here
We sit not in protest, but as a demonstration of the power of listening and an invitation to White House visitors to bring more listening into their lives. At this moment of growing political conflict, listening is a practice that can benefit all of us, regardless of our specific views.
You can read more about the practice here
and find a shareable Facebook event here
If you are thinking of joining, the best thing would be to reply to me directly because we do sometimes adjust our meet-up times slightly because of weather or other circumstances. That way I can keep you in the loop!
Warm wishes to all!
Seth
