Greetings Dear Sangha,
A central power of mindfulness, of the Dharma, is in the practical support for self-regulation, for gathering our wits, settling our minds, and moving forward with more clarity. Yet in these teachings, so much more, even in terms of clarity, is on offer. For this moment of collective instability and breakdown, the Dharma can point us to the steady, the unshakable within our own heart-minds. This underground river of wisdom is always within us. How we come to know that truth for ourselves and rely upon it is through making our way to and drinking from this river again and again.
This Sunday, we'll explore in community a practice for accessing that within us that is not disoriented and can instead point the way. I hope you will join us.
One practical note: if you're joining us in person, know that the line to check in can be long so please arrive at least 10 minutes early. There are plenty of friends to make while you're waiting for the formal program to begin!
In-person: Sunday, 7 to 8:30pm @ Yoga District — 1910 14th Street NW, 3rd Floor, Washington, DC
