Dear Friends,
Do you have a hobby or routine that brings you into the moment? Have you ever felt fully present riding your bike, making a meal, or listening to music?
This Sunday will be experimental and all about bringing mindfulness to activities we love. Together, we'll explore social dancing, specifically swing dancing, as a form of individual and relational meditation.
The evening will include:
- Being in the body - Finding rhythm and inspiration from music.
- Listening - Attuning to our bodies, layers in music, and a fellow dancer.
- Connection - Practicing being present and nonverbal communication.
If you're joining in person, please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to avoid the check-in line and help us begin on time with ease.
Warmly,- In-person: Sunday, 7 to 8:30pm @ Yoga District — 1910 14th Street NW, 3rd Floor, Washington, DC (please arrive 10 minutes early)
- Online via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/466237117?pwd=cGxHaTJlTVhBdldVSk8weDZuSW5udz09
