Mindful Helper:
This Sunday's topic and practice will be an opportunity to participate in a heart-centered practice of listening and sharing with one another. I will continue our Mindful Living Series as we discover: Peace and Contentment as a Pathway to Joy.
This is the 3rd of a four-part Mindful Living series sharing Joy to support spiritual growth and awakening. Sunday we will also do our Summer Releasing Ceremony. We have a special treat for you this Sunday – the Summer Releasing Ceremony. It's a joyful ritual where we bid farewell to any worries and anxieties, making room for abundance, joy, and love.
"Some commentators have said that mudita means "sympathetic joy" or "altruistic joy," the happiness we feel when others are happy. But that is too limited. It discriminates between self and others. A deeper definition of mudita is a joy that is filled with peace and contentment. We rejoice when we see others happy, but we rejoice in our own well-being as well."
