There are still spaces and scholarships available for the annual Southern Dharma Retreat Center (Asheville, NC)'s affinity queer meditation retreat this September. This LGBTQIA+ meditation retreat will blend Zen and Vipassana practice and will offer a space to reconnect with our sense of rootedness amidst the Eight Worldly Winds, the ever-changing and intense conditions of this world. By lovingly cultivating radical acceptance, and practicing “not knowing,” we can reconnect with what is true about ourselves, and find refuge in community.
Through guided and silent meditations, Dharma talks, and heart-centered connection, we will explore how mindfulness allows us to meet the challenges of these times without losing touch with our inherent dignity, joy, and power.
Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or just beginning your practice, you are welcome here—fully, fiercely, and fabulously.
