[Downtown Dharma Sangha Listserv] December Engaged Buddhism DC Workshop

Hello Community,

I hope everyone is having a restful weekend! I wanted to share details about Engaged Buddhism DC's upcoming workshop "The Path of Collective Liberation: A Training in Community Organizing" led by Griffen Saul this upcoming Saturday, December 6th from 11am-1pm at the MLK Library conference room 401-F. 

Griffen will be sharing insights from his experience both as a spiritual practitioner and as a political organizer, and dana from the event will be directed to Insight on the Inside, which shares mindfulness practices for people who are incarcerated, returning citizens, people transitioning from homelessness and those in substance abuse treatment. If you would like to attend, please RSVP here.
