Downtown Dharma will host its next reading group and vegetarian potluck, on 7/19 at 6pm at Caitlin Candee's home in Adams Morgan (19th & Kalorama). The exact address will be shared with attendees. Jude Lavelle will facilitate.
TOPIC: Right Speech
WHAT WE'LL DISCUSS:Right Speech (speaking truthfully and clearly; avoiding gossip, small talk, arguments, and flattery). Emphasis will be on addressing the idea of how this can be culturally challenging due to our backgrounds and how we can balance positive self-expression and community building with some of the intentions and benefits of Right Speech.
