Greetings Dear Sangha,
As a group of people in the DC area and online, we come together every Sunday evening to collectively explore the wisdom and practices of the Buddha. But why that last part? What is it, in particular, about a set of teachings 2,600 years old that could possibly be relevant in 2024? Amid social polarization, climate crisis, and of course the everyday stresses of our daily lives, why give your time and attention to this?
This evening, we'll explore the fundamental cornerstones that, in my mind, make these teachings so uniquely helpful to us, individually and collectively, today.
I hope you can join us this evening from 7 to 8:30pm for the development of our practice, wisdom, and community.
