Good morning, all! I am excited and honored to teach again at Downtown Dharma this Sunday evening.
Our topic will be an exploration of Remembrance. "Remembering" is a central theme in mindfulness practice and in the dharma. Yet our modern US culture in so many ways is one of "forgetting". Of course, the Buddha taught us that our practice goes "against the stream" in many ways.
How can we incorporate remembering into our practice in ways that are alive, fresh, and wholesome? What have we lost through forgetting, and what is better left unremembered? We'll explore this and more this Sunday.
With care,
Em
