The next meeting of the Downtown Dharma reading group will be on Saturday, October 16 at 6-7:30pm. We will be continuing our reading of The Book of Joy, a conversation between the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu - reading the second section "The Obstacles to Joy" (pp. 81-188). There is no pressure to have read the first section, or indeed this second section, to attend. We plan on having a free-flowing discussion.
We will be doing a hybrid in-person/Zoom meeting. We ask that participants only join in person if they have been fully vaccinated.

There will be an optional group dinner afterwards for all who would like to stick around. If the weather is nice we may even like to eat on my rooftop.
