Web UI Developer

Interested in building web applications that effectively communicate huge datasets to users using intuitive yet slick visualizations? We are interested in having a passionate and talented web developer join our team. This developer should have experience building user focused web applications that solve real world workflow & data visualization challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with a small team in the continued development of internal workflow and data visualization tools
- Hands-on software development with direct contributions to our existing codebase
- Code daily in Javascript/jquery, PHP, and other related languages
- Work with large datasets writing SQL queries to return data for user interfaces & reports
- Contribute with expertise in user interface design

Requirements:
- Accomplished level of familiarity with php5, css, html5, javascript, jquery, ajax, MySQL or other vertical technologies.
- Experience with UI design, software usability, MVC Frameworks, complex SQL queries, SAS concepts, restful APIs, general web techniques and technologies.
- Work well with a small team, interacting daily with other developers and stakeholders.
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
- History of successfully managing workload to deliver on time and within scope.
- Passion for technology and a drive to learn

Desired:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with UNIX systems, Bash shell
- Git or SVN
- Experience with coding in Actionscript and Flash/Flex
- Experience working with online advertising systems

Struggling time for Bajaj Auto

Honda is going to increase production capacity from 2 lakh to 5 lakhs
units per month within one year along with Yamaha who is also in verge
of increasing production capacity from 40000 to 85000 units per month
within same period whereas Suzuki will be setting up a new plant at
Rohtak in Haryana which will increase its production capacity by 2.5
times.
In 2012, Bajaj Auto has no new launches, while Yahama is going to
launch a different varients of bikes like Jupiter (Rs 45000 Bike),
Yamaha NEO (Rs 30000) and Spark (Rs 50000), along with Honda who is on
verge of launching its new Rs 40000 bike Dream Yuga and Suzuki is
going to launch Rs 48000 bike Hayate. This will have a direct impact
on the market share of Bajaj Auto and TVS motors in domestic market.
Hero Moto corp soon going to start export in Africa & Latin American
Countries, directly affecting Bajaj Auto which has no new technology,
no resale value, & high maintenance cost resulting in downgrading from
its 2nd position to 4th position in the domestic market. Last quarter
result decline and coming quarter result seem to be negative.
